Tinder is one of the most, if not the most, famous dating app with millions of users swiping left or right to find a match. If you’re single and looking, you need to be on Tinder. However, some people only want to spend some day looking at their smartphone screen. If that’s the case for you, there is a way to use Tinder on your PC with a few workarounds.
Tinder doesn’t have an official PC app like it does for iOS and Android devices. However, many apps allow you to access Tinder on your desktop with varying levels of success. I am still looking for a website that offers desktop access to Tinder that works. A few download adware, others redirect you to ARC Welder for Chrome or other browser extensions. From my personal experience, I have yet to be successful in getting any of these methods to work.
With Bluestacks, an Android emulator, the Android application and the Android emulator work well together; this is the most reliable method. I have used Bluestacks before and it is my go-to Android emulator for PC because it is very useful for testing Android apps or using dedicated mobile apps on my desktop. Apps like Tinder can be used with Bluestacks. There are other Android emulators on the market, but it is the easiest to use and most stable.
Tinder on the Desktop
The only way to get Tinder on your desktop is by using either Google Play Store or manually downloading the APK. both ways will work, but Google Play Store is the more reliable option. While Bluestacks offers a free trial, the website needs to mention this prominently. Once the trial is up, you’ll be asked to pay $24 a year to keep using the app or else it will start randomly downloading apps from sponsors. Even though this is a rather shady practice, the app itself is still very good.
- Download and install Bluestacks onto your PC.
- The Google Play Store can be set up by signing into your Google account from within Bluestacks.
- You can find Tinder in the Store and install it there.
- Locate the Facebook app within the Store and install that too.
- Log into both apps and begin using Tinder.
- Then you are ready to sign up if you are already a member. If you’re not an existing Tinder user, read on.
Setting up your Tinder account
To use Tinder, you must login with Facebook. If you want to keep your Tinder activities separate from your real life, you can create a fake Facebook account and populate it with random information. You will need your cellphone number to verify the fake account.
- To login to Tinder through Bluestacks
- you’ll need to link it to your real or fake Facebook account.
- Once you allow Tinder to verify your number (don’t worry, your number will not be put online)
- you can hit request code and add the code contained within the SMS.
- After you submit the code, click Start Playing to get into Tinder.

Now that the mechanics are taken care of, it’s time to build your Tinder profile. Here are some basic guidelines for creating a successful Tinder profile:
Make sure your main image is strong – you should be alone in the frame and looking confident or relaxed. Wear something you think looks great, and ensure your face is visible. The image is often the only thing someone will look at before deciding whether or not to swipe right, so make sure it’s a good representation of who you are! Add more images to show different aspects of your life and personality to create a well-rounded profile.
If you want to find love on Tinder, you need to make your profile interesting and stand out from the rest. Use a bit of humor and be self-deprecating – but don’t take yourself too seriously. Most users are on Tinder for a good time, so be someone they can have a good time with.
With millions of users on Tinder, you need to make sure you stand out from the crowd. When contacting someone, never say “Hi.” Instead, be interesting and read their profile. Then, feature something within it in the first couple of lines. Be witty if you can, keep it simple, and don’t start with “wanna hook up?” or something similar. That’s not going to work.
Like anything else, developing a strong and genuine it profile requires effort and determination – but it will be worth it in the end, we promise! Even if you don’t think you’re the best-looking person in the world, there are ways to make yourself stand out from the rest of the “swiping” population. With creativity and thoughtfulness, your profile can be one that potential matches will be eager to swipe right on. So keep going until you’ve even started – put in the work and see what rewards Tinder has for you.
