We all know that Amazon is the biggest store that sells everything from A to Z. We generally save things like our addresses and credit/debit card information on our Amazon account to make shopping easier. When you store too many cards on your account, it can be difficult to remember which one to use when shopping. In this case, you’ll need to delete or remove the credit or debit card from your Amazon account.
Note: The steps to delete an Amazon account are the same for both Prime and non-Prime accounts.
Desktop: Sign in to your Amazon account, click on Accounts & List, click on Payment Options, and then click on Checkout. Choose the card, click “Remove,” and confirm that you want to get rid of it.
App: Open the app, tap the menu button, choose Account, click on Manage payment options, and then tap the Bill payment tab. Choose the card, click “Remove,” and confirm that you want to get rid of it.

[1] Open a web browser and go to Amazon.com.
[2] Sign in to your account by putting in the information asked for.
[3] Click the drop-down arrow next to the Accounts & List option.
[4] Tap “Your Account,” then “Payment Options.”
[5] Your payment options, like the default address for purchases and cards you’ve saved, will show up on the screen.
[6] Click the Remove button next to the card you want to get rid of.
[7] The confirmation window will pop up on the screen. To remove the credit card from your Amazon account, click the Confirm Remove button.

[1] Launch the Amazon app you downloaded on your smartphone.
[2] The Three horizontal lines are located in the bottom right corner. Just click it.
[3] Choose the Tile for Account.
[4] Scroll down and select Manage payment choices under Amazon Pay.
[5] Choose the Credit card you want to remove from the Wallet section, then click Remove.
[6] There will be a delete confirmation pop-up. To remove the card, click Confirm.
How to Add Credit Card on Amazon
If you wish to add a credit card to your Amazon account again or if you want to add a new card,
[1] Open your PC browser and go to Amazon.com to log in to your account.
[2] Move your mouse to Accounts & List.
[3] Select Your Account’s Payment Options.
[4] Choose the Add a credit or debit card option by swiping down.
[5] Type in your credit card information and select Add your card.
[6] That is all. Your Amazon account now has your credit card added.
